This article analyze Turkey's aggressive foreign policy in the face of the Syrian crisis with an explanatory method and from the perspective of defensive realism. Therefore, the main question of the research is, why Turkey's foreign policy in the Syrian crisis is aggressive? The temporary answer is that Turkey, by perceiving the threat of extremists spilling over into its internal borders, threatening the autonomy of the Syrian Kurds, as well as Turkey's long-term geopolitical prospects, has led its aggressive foreign policy in the Syrian crisis. The findings of the study indicate that as the crisis intensifies near the Turkish border, Turkish decision-makers have increased the level of military violence in the Syrian crisis. In other words, there is a positive correlation between the extent to which Turkey receives a threat from the Syrian crisis, and the degree to which its foreign policy is becoming more aggressive. The method of data collection in this research is based on the library method which includes the simultaneous use of domestic and foreign scientific articles.

Iran's nuclear activities are one of the most important challenges that have overshadowed the relationship between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the European Union. This article examines the European Union's approach to Iran's nuclear program. So the main question in this article is why the European Union has not supported the US option of "use of force" in dealing with Iran's nuclear program? And in return, has it followed an approach? The temporary implication of the article is that the European Union, by rejecting the option of using force against the United States, has replaced the diplomacy approach with severe sanctions on Iran and brought the United States with it. In this regard, the findings of the study indicate that the implementation of prostitution, economic sanctions and comprehensive sanctions and support for the issuance of anti-Iranian resolutions by the "Security Council", in full coordination with the United States has been considered by the European Union. The data collection method in this research is based on library method and research method is descriptive-analytical method

Realism is one of the dominant paradigms of international relations that has been widely used to analyze current events in international relations. One of the reasons for this is related to its assumptions applicable to current events in the international system, and the other reason is related to the ontological, epistemological and methodological foundations of this approach, which has a very strong analytical power for researchers in the field of global politics. These two issues have led to much criticism from other schools of international relations. Therefore, the aim of this study is to investigate and analyze the most important transnational critiques that have been introduced into this theory. In this regard, the question that arises is what are the biggest and most important criticisms within the paradigm and outside the paradigm that has been introduced into Waltz's theory of realism? In response, it is said that the most critical critique of Waltz's theory is the assumptions of Waltz's theory of realism, which include: the assumption of balance of power, the assumption of central government, the assumption of the systemic system and the assumption of its rationality. Extra-paradigmal critiques relate to the materialist, objective, and positivist foundations of this theory, which have been introduced by the current of reflection. The data collection method is library and internet information and the research method in this research is based on descriptive-analytical method.
